Cancellation Policy
Dear Photographer, We appreciate your interest in using McMurtrey Farm as a backdrop to your photos. Below is our photography policies. Photography Policy Candid photos and snapshots We always welcome families and individuals coming to the farm and paying their entrance fee then taking as many candid pictures as they would like. Professional photographers are also welcome to come with a family when we are open and take candid pictures of an individual or family as they participate in the activities and pick their pumpkin or Christmas tree. We would expect these shots to be taken from various areas on the farm and to not monopolize any one area nor monopolize any of our photo spots nor need any props. We would also expect these to be quick photos rather than more time-consuming posed shots. Photo Shoots and Mini Sessions Photo or video shoots that involve more posed shots require more time in a single location and will typically enter into a paid contract. Multiple models, props, consecutive shoots and multi-family sessions are all indicators that a photographer may require a contractual agreement. Contracts must be submitted ahead of time with the date and time and the contractual fee. The fee schedule below indicates that we will allow photo shoots and mini sessions when we are open to the public for our pumpkin harvest festival. If you schedule when we are open for our pumpkin patch, other participants must pay their entrance fee. We are also allowing photo sessions to be scheduled some of the days we are closed. Photo shoots cannot be scheduled November 25th to December 3rd. Fee Schedule: Flower U-Cut Season June 1st $45.00/ 1 hour + $15.00 per each additional hour *We can't guarantee bloom time, email us if you have questions* Pumpkin Patch and Harvest Festival Opening Day Sept 25th $45.00/ 1 hour + $15.00 per each additional hour Clients will need to purchase an admission ticket. Photo shoots cannot be scheduled November 25th to December 9th. Christmas November 1-24 $45/1 hour + $15.00 per each additional hour After November 25, no photo shoots will be scheduled the week of Thanksgiving and the following week. December 9th to December 25 - $55.00/1 hour + $15.00 per each additional hour *Please contact if you need to reschedule due to weather. Refunds available up to five days before scheduled reservation. After five days refunds are not available.*
